Ferda Paksoy, the founder of AdrIstanbul, has been working as an active mediator, expert mediator trainer, negotiator, and dispute resolution management consultant for companies since 2007. Ferda, who has IMI accreditation, specializes in dispute resolution in international projects, commercial disputes, contractual disputes, insurance, energy, banking finance markets, corporate, consumer and workplace disputes in construction markets. She has about 10 years of experience in the evaluation and facilitation studies in cross-border disputes, agreements, and contracts with foreign elements.

She is a member of Turkey’s board in the International Mediators panel of Office of the Ombudsman for United Nations Funds and Programmes and the Advisory Board of the Association of Asian African Mediators and also a spokesperson for the International Mediators Institute in Bangladesh. She received mediation and ADR training on international platforms and did internship and field studies.

She worked as a key expert and instructor in ”Better Access to Justice in Turkey” project managed by the International Consortium funded by the Ministry of Justice and the European Union and also produced social responsibility projects and public projects for Common Use and Promotion of Mediation in Turkey.

During her mediation and dispute resolution career, she has contributed to the resolution of more than 1400 disputes and has worked as a mediator and negotiator in the disputes of citizens and investors from many different countries from 4 continents, her experience in online mediation has improved since 2014.

She has many papers at international conferences and symposiums and has participated in various projects on mediation and legal aid for local and international NGOs. She also works as an expert mediation instructor at Istanbul Bilgi University.
