Focusing on commercial disputes, CDRC Vienna provides participants with a unique opportunity to work on real-world cases and sharpen their skills in international dispute resolution and negotiation practice. Throughout the event, participants will also attend panels hosted by leading international law firms and hear from prominent voices in the field—gaining broad and practical insights.
Ferda Canözer Paksoy’s Role at CDRC Vienna
As an Expert Assessor and mentor at CDRC Vienna 2025, Ferda Canözer Paksoy will evaluate how university students competing in the event perform their roles within the framework of mediation rules, assess their knowledge and skills, and analyze their strategic approaches during negotiation. As a member of the United Nations Global Mediation Panel and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) mediator roster, Paksoy holds strong influence in the field of international dispute resolution. She is also an IMI-certified mediator contributing to the development of ethical and professional standards in the profession.
The feedback provided by Paksoy and other assessors plays a key role in helping students enhance their negotiation and mediation competencies. Additionally, one-on-one conversations with students outside of the formal evaluation process offer participants alternative viewpoints and contribute to their professional growth. Beyond her Expert Assessor role, Ferda Canözer Paksoy will also provide mentoring support when needed, maintaining neutrality and acting in accordance with the principles established by the competition committee.
Further updates and the detailed program will be announced in the coming days.
