Singapore Convention on Mediation

Singapore Convention/The United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation – the “Singapore Convention on Mediation” opened for signature on 07.08.2019 in Singapore and has been signed by 54 countries including Turkey. Article 14 of the convention states that the convention will enter into force 6 months after the third approval, this requirement was fulfilled on 12.03.2020 and the Convention entered into force 6 months after this date, on 12.09.2020.
